Astro Minimal Template

A minimal Astro template that offers an efficient workflow and high-performance tools for a better development experience. It does not include UI files or impose a structure for them, giving you complete control over your site's architecture.

usage

pnpm dlx @pkcarreno/create-astro-minimal@latest <project-name>

motivation

Astro is my go-to when it comes to developing websites today, because it's simple to use and easy to implement interactivity with any JavaScript framework.

When starting a new project, I always found myself spending too much time setting up the tools. Much of what I learned from the react-native-obytes-template remains my workflow standard. Although it is a react-native template, its enviroment configuration is highly compatible with any Node.js project. I strongly recommend exploring that repository, it's a gem.

Initially, this Astro template used the same tooling as the react-native-obytes-template (EsLint, prettier & husky), but I have migrated it to other tools that, in my opinion, offer better development experience and objectively better performance, such as Biome and Lefthook.
